Never did like the amount of space your standard bed requires. So - why not combine mattress, table and an herbal drying frame, while - by the same token- providing room for boxes, buckets and baskets in one go? And also stabilise the walls some more...?

Frame done. Next, which grid or mesh for drying herbs? Mattress, made of which material? Biodegradable, form retaining, light, breathable...! Good as a day bed as well or to sit and read...!

Hhm... it looks like corrugated card board it will be for the mattress... on it a thick pure wool blanket plus pillow, and a goose feather cover...
